All CEOs Are Not Equal

We have always preferred “Technology Founder” CEOs to “Hired Managers” as founders build sustainable competitive advantage through innovation. Hired Managers prefer to chase the shiny new object and tend to do things that are more about window dressing (i.e. share buybacks) than about driving innovation across the product portfolio.
