Amazon Pushing Its Tranium Chips as Part of Anthropic Negotiation
We have previously written that Amazon’s AWS unit and Anthropic need each other. Amazon ( AMZN 0.00%↑ ) needs Anthropic’s LLM family (Claude). Anthropic needs capital and Amazon’s distribution platform (AWS). Amazon has previously invested in Anthropic.
Tonight it is reported that Amazon and Anthropic are negotiating a multi-billion Dollar investment. Interestingly, Amazon wants Anthropic to use AWS Tranium chips as part of the deal (rather than Nvidia’s NVDA 0.00%↑ GPUs).
