China’s battery tech has come a long way over the past decade.
The battery swapping technology was first outlined 22 years ago by Shai Agassi, SAP’s former Executive Board member. The batteries outlined in this video are CATL batteries. Nothing like this existed when I traveled east for business 15 years ago.
