Another day of dealing with dumb-as-a-rock LLMs. When these things crash, it will make the Hindenburg look like child’s play.
The reason why GCP (GOOG), typically loses to AWS and Azure (and a host of smaller back-ends such as Supabase, Xano and others), is because GCP is unnecessarily complex - to the point of arrogance. If you own a German car, you know what I am talking about. Audi = GCP. Over-engineered to the point of turning off customers and losing business. This will not change until Sundar & Brin get a product guy to lead GCP, someone who cares about the UI/UX as much as Cloud permissions. Part of me thinks Google would rather lose a GCP deal so long as they have the most complex Cloud solution in the bake-off. It’s an intellectual circle jerk in Mountain View.
