Forever Wars Kill The Dollar
Russia Ukraine conflict coming to and end
I don’t believe that the Israel / Hamas /Iran peace will last. Peace is not in Netanyahu’s personal best interest. Peace means he’s out of power and potentially going to jail. That conflict is not over in my view.
Conversely, the Russia / Ukraine conflict is winding down. Russia took out 40% of Ukraine’s gas production months ago and with the recent drone strikes, the FT reports that 60% of Ukraine’s gas production has been destroyed. Now what? Where will Ukraine find energy? Nowhere. Ukraine had a zero percent chance to ever win this conflict, even with U.S. / NATO assistance given the population disparity of Russia’s 150 million people to Ukraine’s 30 million.
Russia spanked the United States in the Ukraine proxy war. Hopefully the United States’ foreign policy of forever wars (Zbigniew Brzezinski is the architect), changes to one that prioritizes intelligence gathering and a modern defense program. Our defense systems are antiquated. They are largely dependent on expensive, legacy, siloed, missile defense technology. By contrast, modern defense systems are fully integrated from an intelligence and comms perspective and feature robust drone capability. We have none of that.
While perpetual multi-national destabilization campaigns run by the CIA are great for Government contractor revenue, the present Neocon foreign policy is killing the Dollar and weakening the U.S. from a military standpoint. The Defense budget alone is approximately $1 Trillion (not counting black budgets). The top 6 Fiscal spend categories - all of which are welfare, except Defense spending - amount to $6 Trillion in spending, which is beyond the $5 Trillion or so in U.S. Tax Receipts. Cut it all.
