GE Vernova Makes A Living from Government Largesse
23% of GE Vernova’s bookings are “Wind” energy-related. That business will be cut in half if the United States decides it can no longer afford to write checks on low-yield, boondoggle Energy projects (either direct or through subsidy), which have been the purview of the Obama and Biden (Obama 2.0) Administrations.
Western Europe is probably forever lost to liberal fiscal policy and green initiatives, so that piece of GEV’s “Wind” pie is probably secure, for now. However, the day will eventually come when even the EU won’t have the currency to subsidize money-losing green initiatives.
