I Do Not Trust The Jobs Data
In the meantime, the Treasury market is cleaning up after the Fed
I do not cover Government jobs data releases because I do not trust the data. Wow, the jobs number was a big beat the month before the election - geez, that is a shocker. I wonder what the downward revisions will look like? The last revision was a downward 819,000 jobs revision. The next revision will be in February 2025.
In the meantime, the Treasury market is correcting the Fed’s messy monetary policy.
