iPhone vs. Android & the Pixel
The biggest problem with the iPhone is that it feels like a phone designed by older people for older people. Navigating the iPhone is cumbersome compared to the Android phones I’ve owned.
After moving to the Essential phone (created by Android founder Andy Rubin) in 2017 and Google’s Pixel lineup thereafter, I would never go back to an iPhone. Further, GoogleFi subscribers (I’m one) may purchase Pixel phones at deep discounts (below).
iPhone owners get zero extra features and functionality compared to high-end Android phones. What justifies the iPhones price? A titanium case?
If Apple can port functionality from the VisionPro to the iPhone, then the iPhone becomes interesting. Mobile mixed reality is very interesting when it does not require a headset or glasses. Use cases would extend beyond gaming to the productivity worker.
