Is Anthropic Long for This World?
If OpenAI codex kills Cursor, Anthropic will be down to Microsoft (MSFT) as its sole large customer (approximately $1.5 billion of Anthropic’s $3.1 billion of API revenue is generated from Cursor and Microsoft).
Anthropic's largest investor - AWS - isn’t even its largest client. Claude is my favorite LLM for coding, but Anthropic’s situation is tenuous.
