We fully integrated Kilby with TEK2day Finance (aka, “TEK2dayFIN”), our open source market data and fundamentals platform.
Investment Technology firms and FinTech firms in general have proven difficult to partner with. When Kilby reaches out to prospective partners, we are simply looking to give Kilby users the ability to have read-only access to partner applications. For example, a Kilby user who wishes to view her portfolio at Fidelity or her account balance at Bank of America.
The Corporate Finance software companies have proven a bit easier to work with. Hopefully I will have an announcement about a Corporate Finance integration before Halloween, Oracle looks promising.
In the meantime, Kilby users can now access company financials, build comp tables, view macro data and more given Kilby’s connection to TEK2dayFIN.
My favorite use cases continue to be having Kilby analyze earnings call transcripts via its “/debrief” function and having Kilby analyze a bunch of documents related to a particular company and synthesize a point-of-view via its “/scuttlebutt” function.
Light Kilby use will probably run you approximately $5-10 per month. Heavy use would be in the $40-50 per month range depending upon the amount of documents you ask Kilby to analyze, the amount of deep research you ask Kilby to perform, and/or the amount of automations you ask Kilby to build.
