LLMs Give Rise To Superhuman Product Managers
Within the context of Software companies, I often refer to Product Managers (PMs) as CEOs of their product portfolio. LLMs can be a force multiplier for motivated Product Managers.
For example, if a Product Manager has an idea for a new product feature or a new product based on customer input and intuition, the PM does not need to absorb company resources to mock-up that feature or product. Instead, the PM can leverage Gemini, Anthropic or GPT (or any preferred LLM), to build that feature or product himself within a matter of minutes or hours. It’s that simple. One must then spend the time to test the feature or product with live data, but the real ROI is giving rise to the initial build.
Every Software company ought to demand LLM usage from their PMs as leveraging LLMs greatly reduces build times and time to market.
