MSFT Has Yet To Enjoy Copilot Pro Revenue Growth Lift
Given that Microsoft has not experienced revenue growth lift from its Copilot Pro (MSFT’s Gen AI end-user offering), launch back in November, how will MSFT ever scale its Gen AI business to where it moves the Revenue needle? Thus far Microsoft’s Gen AI revenue performance does not warrant the Gen AI valuation lift that MSFT shares have enjoyed.
Sure, MSFT also has a Gen AI API business where companies may tap into OpenAI’s LLMs and MSFT’s LLMs via Azure. Yet, if MSFT is to be successful with its Gen AI effort, Gen AI must gain traction with end users. Copilot Pro is that vehicle. Thus far that vehicle is stuck in park.
