Mythos and Fable 5 Back Tomorrow
Too little too late?
The Anthropic damage is done. Sure, people will be happy to see Fable 5 back tomorrow. I will probably have it QA some code, but our internal tooling at Kilby will migrate to GLM piece by piece as the superior cost and high quality make the migration decision an easy one.
Kilby does not require Mythos-level models to do 99-100% of what it does. Maybe there is an edge case. I suppose if next year we push hard on the agentic side, we may call on the frontier model to execute some of that work, but Kilby is primarily a self-service tool for investors.
We have already started to move certain of Kilby’s slash commands to GLM 5.2. For example, our earnings transcript analysis slash command “/debrief” ought to be migrated to GLM 5.2 by Monday if not later this week.
