• How sustainable is OpenAI’s and Anthropic’s multi-billion cash burn rate?

• Will large customers such as NVIDA, Microsoft and potentially the U.S. Government write checks in perpetuity to fund proprietary LLMs?

• Meanwhile, opensource LLMs with performance similar to frontier LLMs continue to flood the market. Opensource LLMs are free to use and offer superior privacy given they may be downloaded to local machines.
