OpenAI Phone
The cover image is my rendering of what an OpenAI phone may look like.
The ChatGPT voice & text icons are front and center. Third-party apps default to a visually subtle “apps” folder to eliminate clutter and mitigate the risk of the OpenAI icons losing user attention to “noise”.
Apple (AAPL) should have built this phone. It still can. Rather than outsource Siri to Google (GOOGL), which is exactly what Apple announced recently, the Cupertino handset giant ought to move to acquire Anthropic or OpenAI. Anthropic would be more realistic, although I believe Google or Microsoft (MSFT) will eventually come to own Anthropic.
Another missed opportunity for Tim Cook.
