Personal Data Security in an AI World

I don’t mind having my credit card in Google Wallet or Apple Pay or Amazon Pay, but I’m not sure that I want to hand over my entire professional correspondence to an AI.

Sure, Google (GOOG) Workspace has all of my email correspondence, but I don’t necessarily wish to hand that same correspondence over to every fly-by-night AI-powered CRM and the like.

For this reason, I believe incumbents who already have my PII data have a built-in trust advantage (the ability to secure data), over upstart firms who I have yet to share any information with.

For example, who wants to hand every piece of work correspondence over to AI-powered CRM firm Attio? (see ad below).
