Skydance Acquisition of WarnerBros Incoming?

I imagine that the Skydance / WarnerBros ( WBD 0.00%↑ ) deal will be announced soon.

WarnerBros has to know that demand is waning for traditional content IP, both long format feature films, and episodic television. AI-generated content (e.g., “AI slop”), captures the attention of ever more people each day (unfortunately) - thereby pulling eyeballs away from traditional content as attention spans increasingly facture.

With an Enterprise Value to Free Cash Flow multiple of 27x, WBD is not exactly cheap. My preference would have been that Ellison’s Skydance go on a live sports acquisition spree, bidding both for teams and broadcast rights. The UFC/TKO deal was a start, but the NFL is the holy grail and does not come cheap.
