The $95 Billion Government Con Job
The recent $95 billion foreign aid package to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan is a Federal Government con job. Here’s why:
Of the $61 billion allotment to Ukraine, only $13.8 billion is allocated toward weapons purchases. That’s it - only 23% is allocated to weapons. Further, why is the Federal Government purchasing $13.8 billion of sophisticated weapons from large Government contractors? The Ukraine war is not being fought with $150,000 hellfire missiles, but rather with $300 drones. Frankly, the U.S. is throwing good money after bad in Ukraine as there is a zero percent chance Ukraine (pop. 35 million) defeats Russia (pop. 150 million), even with NATO assistance.
Of the $26 billion to Israel, only $4 billion goes to weapons. That’s only 15% to weapons.
Most of the rest of the $95 billion will sit in Treasury’s coffers until it is eventually deployed to enrich whomever the White House and Congress deem worthy of U.S. Taxpayer money.
