The Portrait Is Fake, Yet The Documents Are Real
Yes, AI created the JFK portrait of what appears to be the former President smashing the CIA’s logo. AI (a Natural Language Processing “NLP” script created with Anthropic), also enabled us to review more than 6,100 newly released JFK documents in just a few hours.
Language models are a great tool for summarizing text-based documents, whether they be structured or unstructured. We ran a script that identified relationships between entities named in the newly released JFK files. The script identified the strongest relationship between two entities in particular, the CIA and JFK.
It does not conclusively mean that the CIA conspired to murder JFK, but it does mean that understanding the relationship between JFK and the CIA is a good place to start should someone wish to piece together the JFK assassination timeline. AI tools can help automate that investigative process.
The Gary Underhill images below were scanned from documents within the National Archives and were also crowdsourced on X (crowdsourcing is a great way to uncover useful data sets and to glean insight).
Mr. Gary Underhill was a former CIA operative who died by “suicide” months after JFK was killed. Mr. Underhill - who was right-handed - apparently shot himself behind his left ear. Such an interesting angle. It was Mr. Underhill’s opinion that President Kennedy was killed by rogue CIA agents who were dealing weapons and drugs and President Kennedy was going to take action on that criminal CIA group (see pics below).
I doubt that Lockheed Martin (LMT), and other military contractors shed a tear when Kennedy was assassinated, as they lost significant revenue when the U.S. did not go to war against Russia and Cuba.
Back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. I simply wanted to highlight that there are productivity-related use cases for Gen AI, despite valuations being out-of-whack. The fact that the CIA is dirty is not news.
