The Potential for A China Taiwan Conflict Still Exists
Earlier this year I wrote that weather conditions would be favorable for China to take Taiwan in the Spring/Early Summer of 2024. I was wrong on the timing, but this issue is not going away. The U.S. is stretched thin and foreign policy is not a Biden Administration strength. If I were China and I wanted to marginalize the U.S. as I took Taiwan, now would be the time to go on the offensive as I do not see the United States pushing back on China under Biden.
