Using Google's NotebookLM as A Force Multiplier
I built the below CEORater overview files using Google’s recently updated NotebookLM, which is improved over the version I tested in early 2024.
NotebookLM is helpful for creating written, audio and video overviews of information that users feed the tool such as Websites, research papers, transcripts, personal notes and more. NotebookLM can ingest every file type I can think of including: PDF, .txt, Markdown, Audio (e.g. mp3), .avif, .bmp, .gif, .ico, .jp2, .png, .webp, .tif, .tiff, .heic, .heif, .jpeg, .jpg, .jpe
In the case of CEORater, I fed NotebookLM the URLs for the CEORater website as well as for CEORater’s API.
NotebookLM created a 14-minute audio file in podcast format that walks through CEORater (below):
In addition, NotebookLM created a 5-minute video overview of CEORater (below).
Google can leverage its Gemini model family to create tools such as NotebookLM, which can be leveraged across Google Workspace (Google’s Productivity suite) to drive productivity enhancements. This provides Google with an edge over companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
