GDP is largely a function of population, productivity and price. Our population prediction application (predicts population by region from 2024 levels over the next 50 years) incorporates the below attributes.
Each global region has a default value for each attribute. You may change the values for each attribute by using the slider associated with each attribute (see our short video below, we did not move the sliders, but they are functional). Given the shape of the chart and sliders, the app is probably best used on a laptop or desktop.
Fertility Rate: decrease with higher education and urbanization.
Life Expectancy: improve with better healthcare access.
Urban Population: influences family size.
Secondary Education Enrollment (%): affects fertility rates.
Healthcare Access (%): impacts mortality rates
Economic Development Level: affects overall growth patterns.
